Welcome to Southern Fried Rice, Kata’s friendliest guesthouse

Southern Fried RiceSouthern Fried Rice is an affordable and friendly guesthouse situated at the beautiful Kata Beach in Thailand’s idyllic Phuket Island. Featuring spacious, clean, comfortable rooms, modern ensuite bathrooms, outstanding Thai and international cuisine (with over 150 delicious delicacies on the menu), free wi-fi high speed internet and many more attractions, Southern Fried Rice is the ideal hotel from which to explore Phuket.

It is a short walk to the beach, and for your entertainment we have a top quality pool table, and a 48″ plasma TV screen with your favourite sports or news. There is also a great variety of nightlife within strolling distance of the guesthouse, and we hire out motorcycles for the more adventurous to range out over Thailand’s biggest island.

Why is it called “Southern Fried Rice”?

Thai authorities can be very picky about the name you choose and, after several tries and rejections, we found this one on our friend’s menu!
